Our specialized process and care is what sets our leather patch hats apart from the others. All of our patches are applied by hand using a trusted leather bonding agent that we have used for years. Rather than sewing our patches on, we use a method that we know and trust that also helps keep our hats priced honest and fair.
We are a small home business so please be patient while each product is handmade to order and treated with our unique leather process.
We use only the best leather from a company based out of Ohio, USA. The rust colored leather has a waxy pull-up with a 3-4 oz. thickness. The effect lends the perfect touch of rustic character and worn appearance.
Since these are laser engraved that involves charring the leather, we use a leather sealant to help seal the char in while adding a beautiful gloss finish. To avoid smudging we advise to please avoid rubbing the engraved artwork. The char will settle in but when you first open your box just take in the beauty,
While leather can get wet, please avoid washing even with a proper hat cage for your washing machine.
