Chasin’ Birds® is more than a hat…it’s a story…a legacy…

Born in 1979, I grew bird hunting for quail and dove throughout northwest Florida with my dad. My childhood was filled with helping my dad train our English Pointer birddogs with a quail wing on the end of a fishing pole in our back yard. During quail season, we would load our horses up (Big Red and Star) and head to the local field trials in Blackwater State Forest where my dad almost always brought home 1st place. He was known for having the best birddogs in the southeast. This is why our main logo has the pointer in pointing position before the flush. And our other variation with the quail.

When we weren’t flushing quail in the woods, we were in the peanut fields in Chumuckla or Jay, Florida usually shooting more ammo than dove. The smell of a freshly plowed peanut field and the sounds of shotguns in the distance define Saturdays and Sundays in the country with fried dove or quail with honey for breakfast or dinner.

I hand drew our camo patterns and carefully put together the colors on our collection to make them uniquely ours for our special brand. As we continue to build the product line for Chasin’ Birds® we continue to build our legacy.

Our trademark was filed early in 2023 and was an exciting story to share with my dad. Our trademark cleared on August 23…3 days after he suddenly passed away. This brand is for him and the memories we share. We hope you have similar memories in the woods, the fields, or on the water.
